I just weighed myself and the results are... well, they are neither good nor bad because I neither lost nor gained from last week.
Starting weight: 155.5 lbs.
Current Weight: 154 lbs.
Goal Weight: 125-ish
I have nothing much to add except that I'm thankful last weekend's left over cake didn't show up on the scale today.
Speaking of last weekend's cake, we celebrated Alex's Adoption Day on Sunday, September 15th. Family came over and we dined on a variation of Ukrainian/Russian/American food that included borscht, pork & potato casserole, tomato and cucumber salad, veggies, fruit, and many desserts, including that cake. It was a lot of fun spending time with our family. The cutest part of the entire party was when Alex, unprompted, thanked everyone for coming and then proceeded to lead us in prayer. THAT brought tears to this proud mama's eyes.
This weekend, we will be celebrating Ella's 2nd birthday! Same people, same place, but I'm going to go with Italian food. I was going to have it catered, like any sane person would do with 25+ people eating at their home, but honestly, preparing these crazy-sized meals is good practice for the future holiday parties that I look forward to hosting in my far away future.
